HULL CITY VS ARSENAL AT THE KC STADIUM
The return leg of Arsenal and Hull City match was scheduled on 8th Tuesday March, 2016 after it ended in a goalless draw at the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners came into these game with pressure from the fans and coach because they have not won the last 4 games. The game started on high note with Walcott scoring in the 2nd minute but was ruled off side. Arsenal seemed to lose ball very fast in the first 30 minutes which made Hull City control the game. Mertersacker got injured in the 32nd minute after engaging in a head collision with Nick Powell. Olivier Giroud who has been criticized by the fans after going so many matches without a goal scored in the 42nd minute after a defense error by Hull City back four. Arsenal took the lead in half time. Hull City did more of the attacking but Arsenal back four was up to the task to secure a clean sheet. After waiting for half an hour the second goal came from Giroud in the 71 minute. Ramsey came in for the injured Gabriel. Adelaide came in for Ramsey after he was injured. Walcott scored the 3rd goal after a brilliant pass from Campbell in the 77 minutes. After waiting for about 10 minutes, Walcott got his brace in the 89th minute. Arsenal through to the quarter finals ready to defend the FA cup. Next they play Watford on Sunday in the quarter finals of the FA Emirates Cup. Other games are:
