Former Sunderland and England winger Adam Johnson has been jailed for six years for abusing a 15 year old girl by a Bradford Crown Court.
Johnson was found guilty of sexual touching and grooming the girl and is expected to spend his first night in a prison cell later on Thursday 24th March evening after Judge Jonathan Rose sentence. Rose said that the former star had an intention to engage in a sexual activity with the young girl who has not attained the age of 16, taking advantage of her since she trusted him because she was his favorite player.
